How it works

Read the book. Answer as you go. Remember more.

quesread is designed to turn reading into an active conversation. You read the original text, answer questions at the points that matter, and get clear feedback on what you understood.

Four steps, one reading habit

Each step has a simple job: keep you moving through the book, show you where your understanding is solid, and bring back what needs another look.

  1. Read the original text

Start with the complete book, not a summary. quesread presents the text in readable sections, so a long classic becomes a series of manageable sittings.

You stay with the author’s argument and language. The guidance is designed to keep you oriented, not to replace the book with a shortened version.

  2. Answer questions as you go

Questions are designed to sit through the text, close to the passages they ask about. Instead of reading passively and hoping it sticks, you pause and put the idea into your own words.

Some questions check what a passage says. Others ask you to connect an argument across a chapter. If you are unsure, you will be able to skip a question and come back to it later.

  3. Get graded and explained

In the planned experience, answers are graded by AI as correct, partially correct, wrong or skipped. You will see the verdict immediately, along with an explanation and the key points you missed.

    • Correct
    • Partially correct
    • Wrong
    • Skipped

Every answer gets a verdict. Partially correct and wrong answers get a fuller explanation that takes you back to the text, so you can see what was missing.

  4. Review and go deeper

The points you missed or only partly understood will go into a review queue. They will return on a spaced schedule rather than cramming once and forgetting.

When a weak point becomes solid, you will be able to move on to a deeper question about the same idea. The aim is not a score at the end of a chapter — it is understanding you can still explain later.
